Barb has taught Mathematics from grade 7-12 at several schools in Calgary. She has served as an advisor, contributing author, reviewer and field tester for McGraw-Hill Ryerson and their entire line of Mathematics textbooks from grades 8-12. Well versed in the math curriculum, she has worked on several projects ranging from adapted programs to gifted programs to teacher resource material.
Barb currently teaches High School but her experience with the younger grades enables her to break down the high school material into easy to understand concepts. You can expect a unique perspective to this course filled with many tips and tricks to help you finish the course successfully.
During his over 15 year teaching career Marc has taught Math 30-1 over 40 times. He was a member of the AB Education Pure 30 diploma design committees, has written his own course workbook, and used his extensive experience to design the RTD Math 30-1 review packages.
He is known for his colorful lessons and implementation of technology in the classroom. In his spare time he reads, plays hockey, and tends to hockey-related injuries.
Marco has been teaching high school for over 24 years. During these years he has taught all levels of mathematics and has been teaching grade 12 math for 15 years. He is known for his enthusiasm and passion for teaching mathematics and his dedication to helping students achieve their goals. He enjoys hiking, reading and playing and coaching basketball. Currently he is the Coordinating Teacher of Mathematics at his school.
