This is a FLEX course – classes 3 and 4 are offered twice. The "A/B" classes are identical. When registering students will chose either option for any flex class, making their own schedule.

Tom Dunwoody
B.Ed University of Alberta
Teaching Experience (28 yrs)

Tom has over twenty years of experience teaching high school biology, and has not lost any of his enthusiasm. He is currently teaching biology 30 and biology 30 I.B. at a large Edmonton high school, and is a perennial student favourite. Tom is extremely proud of his many ex-students who have gone on to careers in biology related fields such as medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. Tom knows the biology diploma exam inside out and knows how to best prepare his students for success.

Mick Milne

Mick is the Science department head at Austin O'Brien High School in Edmonton. He has been teaching for 32 years, and has taught Biology 30 for 22 years. He has been involved with Alberta Education in item writing and grading diploma exams. Mick's experience has provided him with a strong understanding of diploma style questioning. He is able to use this knowledge to help students understand and apply concepts to achieve success. Mick has coached high school football for 17 years, and enjoys skiing, golfing and tennis. Mick loves teaching and working with young adults. He hopes to see you in his RTD class.
